Start a Chapter
Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. is always looking to expand its sisterhood to new campuses and communities. If you are passionate about multiculturalism, sisterhood, and empowering women, we encourage you to take the initiative and bring Mu Sigma Upsilon to your institution.
How the Process Works
Starting a new chapter requires interest from a group of dedicated women on your campus or in your community. The process involves submitting an interest form, meeting with our National Graduate Chapter, and fulfilling the requirements set forth by our national organization. Our team will guide you every step of the way to ensure a smooth and successful colonization process.
General Requirements
To be considered for a new chapter, interested women should demonstrate a commitment to the values of Mu Sigma Upsilon — unity, multiculturalism, and community service. A minimum group of interested members is required, along with institutional recognition from your college or university. Graduate and community-based chapters may have slightly different requirements.
